About Me

Thanks for stopping by and for your interest in my work. I’m Northamptonshire’s only Women’s Health Therapist & Educator, offering a unique blend of services to support you through life’s cycles and challenges. Uniquely for the region, I offer Science-led, holistic solutions to the impact of Stress on women’s health, informed by the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Whether you’re on a fertility journey, pregnant, post-partum, peri-menopausal, or dealing with another source of stress, I can support you to rediscover calm, release stress and restore balance. My own personal experience of stress and it’s impacts fuels my passion – I became an expert as a result of my own difficult wellbeing journey. I’m here to help you understand your body, navigate this tricky path you’ve found yourself on & support you to nurture your wellbeing.

My unique blend of treatment offerings are tailored to you, your needs & your journey to wellness. As a Reflexologist, Holistic Therapist & Yoga Teacher I have a toolbox of skills and experience to support you offering therapies, online education & support, as well as Mini-Retreats.

Through ‘The Nurture Hub’, I support women through the challenges of pregnancy and early motherhood, offering treatments, Mum and Baby classes & Mini-Retreats for mums.

My wellbeing journey

I’ve personally faced a number of health and wellbeing challenges over the last 30+ years so I understand how all encompassing it can be. I’ve struggled with the effects of crippling stress and anxiety, a 5 year fertility battle (with a thyroid cancer diagnosis and treatment in the midst of it all), 3 unsuccessful rounds of IVF, early miscarriage & a further baby loss before an eventual successful round of treatment in Greece. I understand the challenges that can come with pregnancy and being a new mum. I’ve also experienced burnout. More recently, I’ve started to walk the peri-menopausal path. Whilst I’m now a mum to two young boys (my second conceived naturally 6 months after my eldest was born), the impact of all those experiences lives with me, and I’m continuing on my own path towards restoring balance. I also understand from experience how powerful complementary therapies can be when the body, mind and spirit find themselves out of balance, and that is how my journey to become a therapist started.

Turning my passion into a mission

When I was struggling with my wellbeing I found the constant googling, reading and researching pretty exhausting. Though I found some great therapists to support me, it would’ve been so helpful to have found someone sooner who really understood what I was going through. I encountered so many women on similar journeys, struggling with problematic wellbeing symptoms, who were often incredibly stressed, exhausted (or both) juggling a busy work life too. I started to see that there was a real gap in terms of space for these women to come and feel listened to, nurtured and supported and start to explore some of the underlying causes of/impacts on their wellbeing. Reflexology was the natural choice for my initial training when I decided to leave behind my 20+ year career in business and early on I knew I wanted to specialise in women’s health and bring together all those years of personal experience and the specialist knowledge & skills I developed.

How my service has evolved

Since my Uni days as a Psychology graduate, I’ve always been fascinated with the brain and the mind-body connection. I’ve always been passionate about learning and personal development and when I became a therapist that passion translated into getting the best results for my clients. My belief is that true wellness comes when the mind, body and spirit are in balance, so with this in mind, I offer unique blends of therapies for a truly holistic approach to addressing wellbeing concerns:

  • Foot Reflexology (specialising in all aspects of Women’s Health, including pregnancy, fertility, IVF/Assisted conception & menstrual health. I’m also a Five Elements Reflexologist, with the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine guiding my work)
  • Facial Reflexology
  • Gentle Release Therapy (Advanced Fertility practitioner)
  • Facial Acupressure Therapy
  • Enerqi Facial Rejuvenation
  • Fertile Body Method (a mind-body approach combining hypnosis, solution-focussed therapy and cognitive behavioural approaches)

My professional memberships

I’m a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR), the largest professional body for Reflexologists in the UK, which has stringent criteria for accepting members and a professional code of conduct. With so many short reflexology courses available, I feel it’s important to explain the difference in being treated by an AOR member – in order to qualify and become a member, I completed over 100 case studies, assignments, a practical exam and a final exam in Anatomy and Physiology, achieving an ITEC Level 3 Diploma as my foundation in this therapy. I’m also a proud member of the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists, having completed Case Studies as part of my Reproflexology studies.
