Spring Day Retreat, 11th May 2024

After running sell-out Mini-Retreats for the last 18 months, I’m ridiculously excited to be offering my first Full Day Retreat in the Spring. The line-up is amazing, the venue is incredible and I can’t wait for you to experience it with me! First-up, here is our beautiful venue for the day; The Roundhouse Haven, in the beautiful rolling countryside on the edge of Stoke Albany, North Northamptonshire. After attending a few events here myself, I absolutely fell in love with the place – it really is quite special – and I’m sure you will think so too.

Next-up, my special guests, Jo and Emma. I’m so excited to share their talents with you, and again, I’ve experienced sessions with both ladies myself and they are wonderfully nurturing. Emma (left) is a Breathwork Coach based in Northamptonshire and founded her business Breath4Good in 2021. Emma believes that breathwork, which is the ‘simple act of breathing consciously’, can only be beneficial and offers us a gateway to profound physical, psychological and spiritual transformation. Emma offers 1:1 breathwork sessions, workshops and events and I’m delighted to bring the opportunity for you to be guided by her during one of our afternoon sessions.

Jo (right), is a Certified Sound Practitioner, also based in Northamptonshire. Since graduating from her 200 hour teacher training course, she has been holding sound space weekly around the region, including at The Roundhouse. She brings sound, light and scents to expand the senses during her incredible sessions – the perfect way to end our day in a state of deep rest and relaxation.

We will be nourished by the in-house chef throughout our day at The Roundhouse, from drinks to smoothie bowls, snacks to lunch; we certainly won’t go hungry! The venue has a kitchen-diner, so we can all sit together and enjoy a leisurely lunch.

We will also have the opportunity to explore the grounds around the venue – though we can’t guarantee the weather, there will be an opportunity to stretch our legs, get some fresh air and connect with nature before lunch.

In the morning, you’ll enjoy a gentle blend of Restorative/Yin Yoga – equally suitable if you’ve never tried Yoga before, to if you’re a seasoned Yogi, this is a wonderfully relaxing practice and the venue just lends itself perfectly to this gentle, nurturing form of movement.

And finally, as your host, I will ensure you have a restful, enjoyable day. My wish is that you leave feeling lighter, energised, well rested and nourished having been held in this haven during a day away from the norm. As well as welcoming you and ensuring the day flows smoothly, I’ll be leading the Yoga & Yoga Nidra session in the morning, followed by the seasonal self-care session after lunch. If we’ve not met before, my aim is to make you feel completely at ease, so whether you’re bringing a friend or coming alone, you are so very welcome.
