A little about me

I’m Jane, a reflexologist and holistic therapist based in Barton Seagrave, Kettering in Northamptonshire. I specialise in fertility and women’s health, alongside supporting women experiencing stress, overwhelm and burnout.

Through reflexology, restorative rituals and retreats, I create space for women to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and feel supported through life’s seasons.

My approach brings together professional knowledge, a deep interest in the mind-body connection and an understanding of how life’s experiences can shape our wellbeing. But just as importantly, I believe in the value of feeling listened to, understood and being able to take a breath when life feels like a lot.

My wellbeing journey

My own experiences have shaped both the person I am and the work I do today.

Despite struggling with stress and anxiety from a young age, I navigated university and a 20-year corporate career, often managing to keep going even when things felt difficult beneath the surface.

In my mid-thirties, my life took a different direction. After five years of trying to conceive, four rounds of IVF, a thyroid cancer diagnosis and treatment, an early miscarriage and loss of a twin in my successful pregnancy, I later welcomed my first son following IVF in Greece. Six months later, I conceived naturally and went on to have my second son.

Although I was incredibly grateful for my family, the years that had preceded motherhood, followed by two little ones under two and the demands of my corporate career, had taken their toll. By the age of 40, I had reached burnout.

During this time, complementary therapies became an important source of support for me. They offered moments of calm and connection when so much of life had felt uncertain, and helped me appreciate just how valuable it can be to have space to stop, breathe and feel supported.

Eventually, I felt drawn to turn my experiences into something positive. I left my corporate career, having retrained in reflexology and began specialising in fertility and women’s health.

Looking back, I can see how those experiences brought me towards work that feels deeply meaningful. They also gave me a personal understanding of how complicated life can be, and how important it is to feel supported without judgement or pressure.

How my work has evolved

I’ve always been fascinated by the connection between the mind and body. My psychology degree first sparked that interest, and my subsequent training as a therapist has given me the opportunity to explore it further.

Over the years, I’ve continued to develop my knowledge and skills, bringing together different approaches to support wellbeing in a way that feels individual rather than one-size-fits-all.

Reflexology remains at the heart of my work, particularly in supporting fertility and women’s health. My wider training also informs the restorative rituals I offer, allowing me to create experiences that encourage relaxation, stillness and a sense of reconnection.

Alongside individual treatments, I’ve developed restorative rituals and retreats that offer something a little different: dedicated time away from the everyday demands, in which you can simply pause and focus on yourself.

Whatever brings you to me, my intention is to offer thoughtful, considered support that meets you where you are, without pressure to be anything other than yourself.

A little more about reflexology…

Reflexology is a hands-on therapy in which pressure and massage techniques are applied to specific points on the feet, hands or face. These points are understood within reflexology practice to correspond with different areas and systems of the body.

For me, one of the most valuable aspects of reflexology is the opportunity it creates to slow down and deeply relax. When life feels busy or overwhelming, having dedicated time in which nothing is expected of you can be incredibly restorative.

My approach combines my reflexology training with my specialist knowledge of fertility and women’s health, as well as the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Each treatment is tailored to the individual, with time to understand what has brought you to the session and what you need from the experience.

My professional memberships

I’m a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR), the leading professional body for Reflexologists in the UK, which has rigorous membership criteria and a professional code of conduct. My initial reflexology training involved over 100 case studies, assignments, a practical examination and a final examination in Anatomy and Physiology. I achieved an ITEC Level 3 Diploma, providing a comprehensive foundation for my work as a reflexologist. I’m also a proud member of the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists, having completed specialist fertility reflexology case studies.
